Say for some reason Hatton and Pac couldn't come to terms. By this time Bradley was ranked at #2 behind Hatton in ring magazine at Jr welter weight. Say Bradley got his shot at Hatton instead.
Who do you think wins the fight at this time, and how? They both are come forward type of guys. Bradley I think is strong enough to be able to wrestle with Hatton on the inside. Bradley may not have the power to really hurt Hatton though. I also don't think Hatton could KO Bradley though. Hatton is coming of wins vs Lazcano and Paulie while Bradley is coming off wins vs Witter (WBC) and Cherry. This is before Bradley fought Holt and Campbell. |

At the time I was proclaiming Bradley would beat Hatton and looking back my mind is unchanged.
I mean, FFS - the Lazcano and Malignaggi performances vs. the Witter and Cherry performances? It was almost a no-brainer. (that version of Malignaggi SUCKED - utterly ruined by his bad chemistry with McGirt...not as good a win as it looks on paper) |
