Danish TV2 writes that Mikkel Kessler's challenge to Robert Stieglitz WBO title at SMW is off.

The oft-injured dane has broken a finger in training.

Looks like it has been postponed to the new year.

I don't know if Stieglitz will make a volontary defense in the meantime. I doubt it though. He will not risk losing this mega-payday.

This is a perfect example why the best fights should always be made immediately if given the possibility to do so.

You never know what the future holds....

The fight will most likely be re-scheduled but it pushes back once again, any truly meaningful fights following this one and involving the winner.

Damn. Kesslers got a fragile body. Odd being that he fights toe to toe alot.

Thats one problem. I hope they fight, Steiglitz go a hold on that belt and it will be better if anybody else got it.

It is also possible that his gamble has now backfired on him though.
