Thompson is 40 years old. I mean he's been kind of a stiff fighter since his early days, so age shouldn't affect his performance as bad as say it would a Tyson, but the show should go on......Thompson vs Wlad for April.

Chambers is 33 y/o, he's been fighting since he was in his teens, family in the sport since forever.....he shoulda had a regular chiropractor and masseuse. ....there's no excuse for a tight back before a title fight.

Did he think he was gonna let his L5/S1 pop out during the fight, then eat a couple Alieves and get it on. Cmon....this is boxing, and this was a clearly avoidable delay. Thompson should get the rematch with Wlad.

I wonder if your right Chitown. Will Thompson just get his title shot, or will they make another match involving someone else. Or worse wait for Chambers to heal , which could lead to other delays. Just looked at the IBF's rankings and Hellenous is rated 3rd, but I heard he was facing Dimitrenko for the EBU belt in Dec. Then It's Arreola who has a match set up and will get a shot at Wlad anyway.

I'm hoping they could maybe set up a fight with Thompson and Denis Boytsov. Would like to see him step up in the level of his competition . Are his hands alright now??

I personally know eddie and theres no way he could fight he had back problems and right shoulder issues during sparring he looked fine until onr session last week.he litterally stood in front of his partner for a minute not throwing any punches or neither moving much. His trainrr james basheer let eddie continue twice but didnt like what he was seeing so since then eddie has taken off.days from camp and has gotten massage treatments with no real relief. Hes recently taken x.rays n an mri so he will be contacted soon about his.back n shoulder issue

Last I saw, Chambers is only about 29.
