Based on what we've seen from them so far I'd say Quigg, probably by knockout.
He's big, strong, goes to the body well and has good footwork..... Frampton has looked good in patches and indifferent on other occasions, I like some of what I see from him but don't see a potential world beater that McGuigan does. I'd definitely put him in some learning fights for a year or so, against different kinds of opponents. Quigg looks the more seasoned of the two at the minute. If the fight comes up and the price is right I'm sure it'll happen, but I wouldn't be in any hurry to chuck Frampton in the deep end just now. The Hattons should keep Quigg active, but obviously no bullshit defences. Wouldn't worry about Martinez either, Quigg looks big enough and strong enough to deal with him. |

given another or two year at the rate hes developing ,then id pick frampton.
also for as good as quigg looked, booth was little more than a punch bag on the night. somewhat akin to kell brooks fight the other week. quigg never had to get out of second, thats noty saying he couldnt if he needed to. Last edited by im sparticus; 10-24-2011 at 03:10 PM. |

I would love to see Barry squirming on ringside after Quigg knocks him out.
I like Frampton but Barry has been bigging him up far to much for my liking and besides i think Quigg wins this one... |

Quigg for me. Too strong and too accurate and possibly more durable?? I don't know about the last, that's an educated guess but I think he's the stronger and Definitly the bigger of the 2.. Both good fighters though but I just can't see beyond Quigg with anyone in UK.. top fighter....

Quigg has been knocked down and appeared hurt when he was down so Frampton definitely has a chance but I think in a war of attrition I would rather have my mortgage on quigg |

We all know Carlos is a puncher but i doubt he could flatten Quigg with one punch, he hasn't really flattened any of his opponents to date, and most of them couldn't defend themselves, Quiggs defence seems solid as a rock.
