I picked Liston in both fights to win and I was just a tad older than you at that time. I also picked Tyson to destroy Douglas---------got that wrong too. I also liked Duran over Leonard in their second fight. That's the only 4 I've ever been wrong on!! |

I've had some shockers, past and recent!
I picked Tyson to Beat Holyfield fight no1 Lacy to beat Calzaghe. De La Hoya to beat Pac...(although I soon changed my mind when I knew about the weight stipulations) Harrison to beat Haye :( ( what was I smoking?) Am putting my neck on the line by predicting Chisora to beat Haye |

I figured Julio would do one over Whitaker, for sure. I was really convinced about it. I thought Julio would chop him up into neat little pieces in 10 rounds. That fight actually made me a Whitaker fan.
Oh, and I thought Ruddock would blow Lewis into next week. Got that one wrong in a big way. Also, I figured Hearns was too shopworn to beat Leonard in '89 and later, I still hadn't learned my lesson and I thought Hill would embarras him. Sorry Tommy. Of course, I picked Hagler to beat Leonard easily in '87 as well. I thought it was a mismatch to be honest. |

My biggest most recent blunders:
Dawson/Hopkins I-Hopkins decision Froch/Bute-Bute decision I usually pick HWs very well, actually one of the few who had Evander beating Tyson. However, I picked Holyfield over Lewis in the first match. Wasn't sold on Lewis at all. That was a big blunder. |

I'm a little 'old school'
Mac Foster over Jerry Quarry (1970),,,,,,,,I thought Jerry would be lucky to last 5 Rounds. Jerry Quarry over Muhammad Ali (1970),,,,,,,,,,I thought Jerry would wear down a comebacking Ali, and stop him in 7 or 8 Rounds. George Chuvalo over Buster Mathis (1969),,,,,,,,I thought George would just bust the 'soft-muscled' Buster in half with a body barrage. It never happened. |
