The Lewis overhand right that put Briggs down. Not the knockdown that ended the fight. That was more Briggs falling after throwing a Super Macho Man 360 punch. The knockdown before. Briggs throws one or two punches. Lewis just barely moves his head, smiles, and puts Briggs on the floor. I think his overhand right may be my favorite punch in all of boxing.

Have to agree with Oscar v Vargas and Kostya making Zab dance, purely for the satisfaction value.
Surprised no mention of Leonard sparkling Davey Boy Green. Can't remember the opponent off top of head but Tyson's "good night Vienna" bobbing and weaving KO.Reggie someone? if anyone can put me right please? |

Lennox Lewis' uppercut on VK that sent his head snapping back (someone posted a killer GIF of it a while back) Jimmy Thunder's first punch KO of Crawford Grimsley These are just the first three that popped into my head... |

my fav punch sets to watch for...
#1 Humberto Soto's "Meat Grinder" attack - when he catches an opponent on the ropes, if he's comfortable enuf, he'll lean to the left and start dropping an turned over, over-hand right with a varying left uppercut to head/ to body..... and repeat over and over. A very beautiful attack to see! Example - he does this at least twice vs Lorenzo in the 4th round, the first time overwhelming Lorenzo leading to a KD. The second flurry almost finished him and the ref went to wave him off... and the eventual shit disqual [ame]***********.youtube.com/watch?v=CwBQbA0G9ss[/ame] his second opponent, and the last one from a distance, in this fan vid #2 Mike Tyson's "Can-Opener" - the right bodyhook/headhook and right uppercut from the angle... still used today by select fighters. Im sure Cus D'Amato had pass that down to him... #3 The good ol' "Doubling up with the Left" - left bodyhook, left head hook. Love to see fighters who has the confidence to pull this off...
