I think Floyd is scared, not of Pac himself, but of losing the 0. Everything about Floyd revolves around that 0. The 0 is his pride, it's his marketability. Pac is the best fighter he would ever encounter, and has a good chance of losing. Imagine Floyd not being able to brag about being undefeated? Personally, I can't.

this will keep on recurring. let's just hope pac wins over jmm this coming november and follow the next negotiations between pac and floyd.

pac already said that blood testing is not an issue and that is the only remaining concern from floyd's standpoint. next neg will confirm who wants it and who doesn't.

Again...that's still after the hatton fight. When floyd came back from retirement, pac-hatton literally started the next day. Not a single person mentioned PEDS...not even floyd....then boom, hatton gets KO in the 2nd and Sr. was obviously butthurt. The only way to rationalize it is used the drug alibi....Now Jr. finally find THE PERFECT alibi....there you go. I'll admit he can still school PED-up Pac, but his excuse went from "he is too small and a Morales leftover" to "he's no calling me out" and "a PED user." That's a sure sign of doubt.

I don't think Floyd is coward, he's just jealous, and a bit doubtful. The drug testing is his way of saying drop down on your knees and kiss my feet...pac doesn't one any of those.

A neutral stance, from someone who doesn't give a FF:

1: Pac is almost definitely on PEDS. You don't need a blood test to realize this.

2: Mayweather is definitely afraid to fight him. Only an idiot wouldn't realize this by now. - And PEDS should not be an issue if Floyd wants to go out with respect.

3: If they actually ever fight (I doubt it) Manny would destroy Floyd.

what does it mean? he wasnt part of the team pac's negotiating panel. he was clearlyt expressing an opinion about what he heard.
did i missed anything?

Floyd doesn't need Manny, Manny doesn't need Floyd. Who can blame them? Pacquiao is getting a shitload of money fighting Marquez at a stupid catchweight, Floyd is making millions fighting Ortiz, who was, and always will be a level below him. What's the point in both risking their huge market value to fight each other? The fight was much bigger in 2009, people got bored, particularly casual fans, so let's move on and not have every other thread on the site about why it hasn't happened. I don't think either of them want the fight.

I agree with that second part. - but Floyd sure DOES need Manny. His legacy will be forever tainted (SEVERELY tainted) if they don't fight. He might make it to the hall of fame, but with a huge asterisk.

Pac's legacy is secure. In the Pac universe, Floyd is almost irrelevant.
