Everytime Ullrich faces a good boxer he gets outboxed (Erdei) and everytime he faces a good puncher/boxer puncher (Johnson, Adamek) he gets knocked out. Universum can make decent money with Ullrich facing European B-level fighters, so why take any risks? Another defeat (which would be VERY likely against Green) would end his career. |

Or why do you think that Chris Byrd fought four times in Germany? |

I think i'm the only one who doesn't really want Green vs Briggs that much.
I'd much prefer to see them take on different opponents or try to obtain their own World Titles and then meet. I dont have any interest in seeing him fight Mundine too... |

Who are all these people?
Now with a few more world champs, looks like the aussie forum is getting popular!!! Green should fight Clinton Woods next. |

Forget Mundine. Green doesn't need that fight, stylistically all wrong for him. Those two really need to just get on with thier own careers. Green has some great fights out there for him now, and without making this a mundine thread, so does choc.

Mundine is a waste of time. I can't see Mundine going to 175 either.
There's so many decent fights at 175 - I think Briggs Green would be very entertaining, I would like to see the Tarver fight happen, though I doubt it will after the shonky way their fight disintergrated. |

On the styles matchup of Green Mundine - Before the first fight - I would have said Green's style was perfect for Mundine.
After the 3rd round when Mundine realised Green was trying to box him rather than pressure him, he almost laughed in delight and dominated the rest of the fight. If pre-Sullivan brain fry Green fought Mundine like he did Lucas - It would have been a very different fight. Danny bought the heat, til it fried his mind into thinking he could outbox the faster handed Mundine. He should have been banging his shoulders, arms, sides: anything - Instead he crouched and froze in the spotlight in a terrible fight. I'm very happy for Danny now though - Good performance. He should go fight Clinton Woods in England and make some $$$ |
