just watched it. i know alot of people complain about the uk cards not having the big name fighters but i dont think it matters when you get a good main card like that, bit disappointing that leben had to stop, but the first two rounds were great. i have watched many ufc's which look really good on paper and dont deliver as i had hoped, so its good to see a card which many people wrote off turn out to be very entertaining.

Nah it wasn't dude - Cope was done.

The Young-Omigawa fight and Broughton fight were both pretty brutal to watch. Other than that it was a very fun card. As I said it would be and got called a zuffa shill for my troubles.

I thought morono already established that falling face 1st into the canvass is no grounds for the ref to stop the fight after Fedor/Hendo fella He clearly could have recovered whilst Che was dropping bombs on him

Yeah it was a decent card, pleased for Etim & Che winning in style, Alves looked back to his best, albeit still clueless with his back to the cage, and Barao is a welcome addition to 135

Shame the main event ended with a bit of a whimper, but was good until the stoppage. Munoz has worked himself into the no1 contenders spot with that one imo

Still think we deserve one or two of the big guns on the next card though

If I were Leben, I figure if someone's going to win fighting me I might as well make him earn it. He was probably demoralized from being unable to visibly hurt Munoz and just couldn't think of anything else to do to win.

The cut was in that danger zone above the eye where anything could happen. It was also pretty dark which is a bad sign about how deep it was. I can see why you're questioning it because of some of the stupidity we see from referees/corners but cuts near the eye-line are serious and I think it was the right decision for him to not come out.

And apologies for not getting your joke Stoo. I doubt we'll see a much better card next time round - as I said at the time if you disliked this card then it needed to flop business wise for the UK to start getting many better. The one caveat I will add to that is the question of their television deal. They get the television deal they want with Sky then who knows what's possible.
