Default Incredible BJJ Technique.

As a few of us practice BJJ, we know that the submission itself is usually fairly simple, but it's the positioning that is ridiculously hard. I just saw this video of Ryan Hall (BJJ Black Belt) competing with Hermes Franca at Grapplers Quest and while it wasn't a submission (probably because Hermes has good defense) this is probably the sickest transition to the back that I've ever seen, if not the best transition I've seen period. Feel free to post vids of sick jits.

My coach Chico going from a takedown into a sub at around 1:50... Pretty slick

LOL! That poor purple belt. Marcelo might as well be relaxing on the beach and he's struggling for his life. That guy is just so sick. Bad ass video, by the way. Yeah, exactly my thought, "I never would have thought to do that."

I liked when he was rolling with Arlovski. Exactly how you should fight a bigger, stronger opponent. (And Arlovski is a Sambo expert, not exactly a slouch)

Yeah, Arlovski is a big dude and not exactly weak or lacking technique himself.

And as far as Mr. Mendes, I think slick is an apt description.

Yeah that is true.

We've got Rafael Heck training with us this month too. Great guy.

Do you live in the UK? We should have Leo Vieira back with us for a seminar in January. If you are interested let me know.

I do not. I live in the North East U.S. We got lucky as shit because we actually had a really good BJJ instructor move to my area. I wish to **** I had a BJJ school here when I was a kid, I just got a worthless TKD Black Belt. How did I learn it was worthless? My Muay Thai instructor beat the **** outta me.

Julio "Foca" Fernandez, 6th Degree BJJ Black Belt under Carlson Gracie.

Nice technique, probably not applicable outside of a bjj match.

Skip to 10:45 for Roleta's classic Helicopter sweep on Wallid Ismail in the closing moments of their match at the 96' Mundials. Definitely a special moment in the history of the sport.
