Pacquiao's footspeed is imo superior to floyds. However in terms of footwork i think floyd has the edge

Floyd's footwork is technically better, but Pacquiao has the fastest / most agile feet I think I've ever seen , and he has great feints.

I have reasonable doubt that Roach after all these years hasn't gone over something as elementary as cutting off the ring in regards to footwork.

Unlike his earlier years, he is smaller than most of his recent opponents so he has to hold his opponent's power in higher regard.

On another note, let's skip over the presumption that he can't cut off the ring- how is his footwork on the approach, offense, and retreat, well it seems to be fine to me. If he can't cut off the ring and the opponent is flat out running well its not like he's losing any real points on the scorecard.

mayweather easily. pacquiao just moves a lot. whenever he fights someone that's remotely fast, he gets hit clean. hell, he eats leather even against slow washed up bums
