Yeah id say mid way, tunney was a tough son of a gun,but he would have to be on his toes the whole fight and i could see tyson catching him sometime in the fight, when he slowed down a bit or got cornered.

Tunney lacks the physicalities to keep Tyson honest....

Mike would simply blow him out.

Tyson would work Tunney's body early, then come over the top with hooks. Throwing the jab on a regular basis while advancing would also serve him well to find the range. Tunney's slickness would take him into the middle rounds, but he gets chopped down in the same fashion as Tyrell Biggs.

This is a bad matchup for Tunney, imo,Tysons fast hands two fisted power and excellent ring cutting skills give Tunney severe problems Tunney was a master at boxing on the retreat ,but Tyson was very astute at ring geometry, unlike other power hitters like Liston, who followed his prey around,I dont feel tunney has enough pop in his right to keep Tyson off of him the whole fight,he would undoubtedly land plenty of short jabs and quick one twos but sooner or later Tyson gets through, may be 8 rds.

Tunney never faced anoyone with Tyson's power, let alone speed and aggressiveness. As skilled as Gene is, I have to say early, brutal KO.

Tyson here for sure, his speed of hand and foot are the key elements here and i highly doubt Tunney would hit him hard enough to garner respect.
