Here is why JMM wins, if he wins.
1. Pac was clearly hitting JMM in his previous two fights. This aside from the Knock Downs! 2. But JMM could take Pacquiao's punches, he is not getting cowed! He punches back and can win a point-system match, but cannot KD Pac. 3. Now that Pacquiao trains for this third fight, he focuses on speed----- wrong move! ![]() 4. He should have focused more on power, like the one that faced Mosley because he hits Marquez anyway! And if those power punches against Mosley connect (and they will) it will obliterate Marquez..... 5. So Pacquiao training for speed was a wrong tactic as this does not give him any advantage at all. Your Thoughts?

pac's power is enough to kd cotto, mosley. speed is important if he gets into back forth with jmm, if jmm;s chinn holds up, as jmm is a good counter puncher.

Increased speed doesn't directly increase power, but due to the increase in speed the punches should have more of a "stun" effect
Pac UD. cant see it anyother way unless Pac stops him late |

![]() Plus the added muscle mass of JMM translates to a higher threshold to receive punches and pain

The reason Pac obliterates his opponents is SPEED. I'm sure the dude hits hard, but every opponent you hear the same thing...I couldn't see his punches. Also, to say he worked on speed solely... I don't know if you seen Pac lately, but dude looks like a pitbull! I know JMM has gotten big, but Pac's arms, upper body looks better than it ever did in his entire career, and his legs actually look BIGGER than his last fight. The extra weight might keep JMM on his feet for a little longer, but I'm willing to bet those big arms slow his counter punching down, and without landing some huge counters on Pac this will be a massacre. |

Lets not all get caught up in the Hype again and start believing programmes like HBO 24/7. Pacman is the PFP number 1 in the world who is a fully fledged welter weight. He has taken apart a 150lb Margarito and dismantled Miguel Cotto. He is probably the fastest fighter in the world and one of the PFP hardest punchers in boxing today.
JMM is a lightweight, i don't care how big his arms are. He is older, slower, and out of his depth against Pacquiao. Yes he can counterpunch and is a solid technician but at the catchweight of 144lbs this fight is a joke. When Floyd made him move up he made a mockery out of himself, 18 month layoff or not. Pacquiao making him move up nearly 2 divisions is also a joke. JMM will be destroyed and his face will be a bloody mess when this fight ends. Pacquiao will claim to have settled the score by silencing critics that thought JMM won the first 2 fights, this fight should have happened 2 years ago. |
