1. Pac was clearly hitting JMM in his previous two fights. This aside from the Knock Downs!

2. But JMM could take Pacquiao's punches, he is not getting cowed! He punches back and can win a point-system match, but cannot KD Pac.

3. Now that Pacquiao trains for this third fight, he focuses on speed----- wrong move!

4. He should have focused more on power, like the one that faced Mosley because he hits Marquez anyway! And if those power punches against Mosley connect (and they will) it will obliterate Marquez.....

5. So Pacquiao training for speed was a wrong tactic as this does not give him any advantage at all.

Your Thoughts?

Pac was bound to hit Marquez, and he did. But Marquez could take it.

Although he won, The focus on speed in his training did him in

If pac focused on power (like he did for Mosley), the hits would have been more telling

In other words... Timing requires speed. In the first 2 fights, JMM had respectable speed along with strait punches. However, I feel he has lost some of his speed since then. Well BEFORE you factor in his bulk up which almost always saps more.

Also... Guess what "kills" timing? An unorthodox, unpredictable, high output style. That's why the first two fights were great. I just don't think JMM is on the same level anymore. Certainly not at this weight. But hey this is boxing and anything can happen.

It doesn't matter how you train cuz you won't be knocking a guy out if he backs up the whole ****ing fight. This is the new gameplan for everyone against Pac. It started with Mosley, and now JMM.

Cotto late rounds

Or even Chatchai Sasakul before he got caught if you want rawness of Pac's physicality

But JMM engages especially when he gets caught in the ropes. That's the difference if Pac imposed his flat-footedness. He gets hurt by JMM shots but it couldn't put him down

But his shots especially if they focused on power is a game changer
