Yawn. I swear I scored objectively. Believe that or don't, not interested in debating it any further, no point.

Pac:
2:38 jab (clear)
2:07 jab (clear)
1.48 power (lead left, clear)
1:37 power (right counter, clear)
1:37 jab (not clear)
1.37 power (2 jabs may have landed previous to that), clear
1.11 jab (clear)
1:11 power (not clear)
0:56 jab (blocked/missed)
0.29 power (clear)
0:27 jab (clear)
0.08 1-2 ( I think only the jab landed) (jmm reaction was throw combos after he was hit by 1-2) clear
0.05 jab (JMM throws combinations which Pac slips) clear

JMM:
2:04 jab blocked/missed
1:54 jab (clear)
1.34 jab (somehwat clear, pac was moving away and somewhat clear)
(1:27) jab blocked
1.24 left hook to body (looks blocked or slipped) If someone has HD
version, slow mo and pause to see for yourself.
(blocked by the right elbow)
0.28 jab (maybe blocked) blocked
1.10 bodyshot x2 (clear)
1.11 jab (1:12 jab clear)
0.01 bodyshots x2 (1 looks low) (low blow and one to the arm/elbow)

Difficulty in scoring some shots landed on Pac is that Pac blocks to defend, hard to tell if a punch gets through sometimes. Most of the time I give JMM the benefit of doubt. JMM pulls away from the punch so easier to tell. IMO a clear Pac round. The punches he landed was clear and his straight left even caused the red mark on Marquez nose as Lampley pointed out. JMM didnt land a clear power punch to Pac's head, just 5 bodyshots, 1 which looked low and 1 looked blocked.

10-9 Pac.
round 1 could almost be 10-8, i scored it on pac's favor 10-9. pls review round 1.
Its a 10-9 rd that was a mistake. getting late.
U give rd1 to JMM only if u like nacho up ur ass...

What the **** are you doing, sifting through every round and trying to decide which round Marquez did'nt win as strongly so that you can somehow make a case for Pacquiao.

Thats not how you do it you biased fowl smelling Pac****.
You score the ****ing fight from round 1 and you do it in sequence round by round.

"I cant ****ing score round X for Pacquiao, so I'm going to sift through and rewatch a few rounds until I get a ****ing result that fits my agenda."

You're pathetic you piece of Caca!

I'm sorry, but this clown really upsets me. The guy actually knows something about the sport and regularly posts in the Classic section, but his raging hard on for Manny Pacquiao is so that he cant ****ing be impartial about the scoring of this fight and in this scenario he's giving us in this thread, is'nt even trying to hide the fact he's a Pac**** with full blown irreversable "Pactadism."

You're not even trying to lie to yourself Popkins, you're Pac****ism is so that you're exhibiting the symptoms of a sick boxing fan in denial.

I too scored it a draw, 6 rounds a piece.

I pretty much agree with everything you say and would like clarification on two points (may have been covered in the thread; I haven't read every post.)

1) rather arbitary, but if you had to split those even rounds, who would you give the edge?

2) in light, how does your top 5 p4p look and then your top 5 ww look?

Much like the judges, I only watched it once, live. I also scored a draw lol

Great minds...

note, I'm also biased for Marquez but him losing that last round..was a let down.

What a lie. This is an invalid argument type that is called poisoning the well eg the Pope has no right to comment on the existence of God because he is bias. It is a way of ignoring the views of a certain group of people, fallaciously of course.

I agree that boxing is difficult to judge and that the fight had a few close rounds, but looking at the fight as a whole you can not say that PAC was the better fighter. He was beaten in almost every exchange.

If someone decided to give PAC every close round the fight might be closer to a draw, but how is it fair to give all the close rounds to one fighter?

Just finished watching the fight for a second time, sound turned off. I have Marquez winning by 2 rounds.

115-113 Marquez

Round 5 is proof positive that compubox is ****.

That's insanity mate. Round 1 is much closer to a 10-10 than it is a 10-8 to Manny. It's a nip and tuck round where Manny just did a little bit more work and edged it to deserve a 10-9 IMO.
