Really impressive win for Juanma too. I like it.
Gamboa crushes the man who gave Juanma a life and death struggle but at FW and for no title. Juanma responds with a very nicely controlled (ahead on my card anyway) win that ends with an emphatic KO over a solid World Champion. The plot thickens! |

Yep agree Tony. Nice and controlled and well executed. I'm sure there will be a whole theory of 'Leuvano is shit anyway' that may pop up soon. But Leuvano is a legit champion with only one defeat on his slate before tonight. Juanma was moving up out of his weight division to face a world champion and he did a great job.

Hard to say with a first round KO against an unknown.
Was his opponent a) a decent fighter that a rejuvinated Duddy blasted out because he was determind to prove a point and able to make a statement or b) a no mark tomato can who was there waiting to be blasted into oblivion. Unless its a 'known' fighter that you beat (take Macklin KO Asikanen for example) its very hard to gauge a first round KO |
