Lads, all joking aside, I know a lot of folk on this website and other sites mock Duddy but I think they're in the vast minority to be honest. I think most pundits find him entertaining so just ignore the haters. Look how many times people attempt to wind up Irish sports fans. They do it in all sports - footy (even the governing body mock us), Rugby (TV commentators like Guscott) Boxing (just about every website) etc. It's up to us to ignore it really and show the rest of the world why were such great sports fans. I think the most recent example in boxing is Rendall Munroe, I see it like this, he is a good honest boxer trying his best while working as a bin man. Ok so some of his fans slagged of Dunne, big deal just ignore them. We shouldn't hate Munroe for it. Not his fault is it.

There is some mobile phone footage of Duddy vs Astorga up on youtube at the minute. Not great, but you'll get the point if you havent seen the fight yet.
Also, was talking briefly to Ardy about running a minibus to the Lindsay fight in March. Bobby Lavery will organise it if there is enough interest - bus, boat and tickets - so drop him a line on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and we'll see what we can do.

Obvious comparisons will be made between the Duddy performance and how Lee deals with the 37 year old former European,Commonwealth and British champion, and world title challenger.
