I completely agree but you can nearly put your house that the appeal will be refused

Lump on the brits lads, this is the most disorganised scoring and refereeing iv seen at an olympics, they judges seem to pick numbers out of their arse for some fights, joke

Ya i noticed that straight away! He had no snap in his punches.

Feel sorry for Darren O'Neill but the better man won but the scores were way off IMO (like the majority of fights so far)

Looking like the Ogogo result might be changed after all. Even after the failed appeal!! Keep an eye/ear out! And our very own Messi spotted it

absolute bollocks cant believe that countback got ****ed up. but whats even more astounding is how 3 of the judges decided that Ogogo deserved the decision even tho he recieved two standing counts

The ref had Ogogos hand raised before the result was even read out.

And on O'Neil looking lethargic and slow. Its not the first time he has looked like that. I remember him fighting the Jap in the worlds and he fought the exact same.

Woodhall was a joke and totally biased. I hope we avoid the home fighters as we will not get a fair shake.[/quote]

Richie Woodhall is always biased.. at these Olympics and in the Pro game. Like all the British commentators.. almost put me off watchin Sky.

Was never that confident in O'Neill, but Nolan could surprise alot of people.

I really like Nolan. He's not the most pleasant to watch but is very effective! I love the story behind his qualification. I mean he was an intermediate boxer until a year and a half ago basically! Only won the inters in december '10 shur. Some rise thru the ranks in fairness.
We haven't seen him lose really since becoming a senior. Ok he lost in the box offs last summer for the worlds but wasn't long back from injury. This is his FIRST major tournament let's not forget.
We'll have a load of bar stool experts throughout Ireland 2mo saying he's shit That's basically cos he's not as skilful as nevin, conlon, etc. But anyone ever involved in boxing will identify his class

BK,

Adam Nolan has to up his game big time if he is to medal, I have only ever seen him live once and that was at the box offs where he was beaten soundly enough.
Havin said that he has the style and the temperament to grow into the competition, difficult passage to the medal places but hopefully we can be on the positive end of some of these dodgy R&J decisions being thrown around the Excel.

Cum on Ireland!!!
