Sean Mccomb beat Eric Donovan in what sounds like a close fight. Andy Lee said on twitter than he thought Donovan was robbed, Mccomb then told Andy to go suck a dick

Edit, RTE have listed all the boxers through to the final:

To be fair, Andy Lee is a big enough personality in Irish boxing and a lot of people who weren't their will take his word for it, that it was a robbery. Sean might feel Andy is somewhat detracting from biggest win of his career.

Also contradicts himself a bit, first saying it was a robbery, then saying it was close but he reckons his good friend O'Donovan just done enough.

Was anyone there to see the fight last night?

I wouldnt say Eric was robbed but I thought Eric was 2-3 points up after first but was down and that changed the fight.Davey will break McComb up in the final

The IBF Super-Bantamweight title fight last night between Jonathan Romero and Alejandro Lopez ended in a SD win for Romero. Looks like there could be a rematch there before Carl gets his shot

Going by IB's round by round Romero dominated pretty much the whole fight (winning everything other than the 11th where he got stunned) and the close scorecards can only be explained by home advantage and corruption.

So a rematch should't be warranted...although that doesn't mean it won't occur.

Fair play to Macklin if he genuinely wants to fight GGG. I'd love to see Macklin have a crack off him but in terms of good management, Macklin would be better off fighting Lee/Barker asap then going for Geale or Quillin should he win.
