Default Plaster or not ...

nothing can change the fact that Cotto's punches never hurt Margarito. This second fight will have the same outcome.

Well, there's got to be some stint taken off your shots when you're being hit with plaster, plus if you know your opponent will be effected later on by the foreign substance you have in your gloves, it must give you extra incentive to keep digging and stay alive.

Anyway, Margarito has always had great whiskers and heart. No one questions that.

Margarito can take cotto's punches but his eye probably cant, if it holds up it will turn into a interesting fight, but then cotto should have learned enough to make it to the end and win a decision.

Margarito's punch out put hasn't been as high since the plaster has been removed, meaning he could throw without using extensive force when landing shots in that first fight those were all arm punches being thrown no snap on any of them if you can throw arm punches then your not going to be as tired or exert as much energy...I doubt at 154 Margo throws 70-100 punches a round

If Cotto fights a smarter fight by turning Marg and tying him up he wins...If he becomes afraid and fights stupidly then he still wins he just takes an ass whooping like he did the first time but just in a closer fight.

Margarito used the plaster with Cotto. That's why he just threw with reckless abandon and would hit elbows shoulders. He just overall beat Cotto down and it was not even just the head shots. It is plain to see he does not or can not do that anymore. He is still a good body puncher though. Cotto needs to come forward and plant his own left hook to the ribs. Going backwards it is going to look like the first fight but he wins either way.

Cotto never went to Margarito's body, he head hunted all night.
If his trainer can get Cotto to start whacking Margo to the ribs then this will be a very different fight.

No so. Cotto was forced to fight on the backfoot as a result of the plaster wraps. This time, Margarito's power won't be as effective and his retard chin has been exposed. He can smile all he wants while getting KTFO. Shane was not having the "u can't hurt me I am mexican" BS. Shane reached back with the crazy haymakers and knocked his ass silly. Exposure.

Agreed. And there is no evidence that Margarito had any plaster in his wraps, so this makes it even more likely he will repeat his performance.

This is true.

If Cotto wants some sort of stoppage, he better either a, go to the body early and HARD. or b, hope to god Margaritos punch resistence is gone.

Its easier to will yourself through the punishment if you know you are dishing twice as much back.

Not so much when you aren't dishing shit back.

Explain him walking through the punishment in his last two devastating defeats?
