In answer to the question, it depends how people define slick. I think certain fighters are slick -
Erdei
McClosky (Not a fan at all)
Bute
Proksa

Theres others I can think of

Go watch the Simon & Lorenzo fights and tell me that Sylvester was on par with the Sylvester who stood in there throwing one jab per minute vs Proksa.

I said 'past it', not well past it.

Bute is "cute" (describing a fighting style here, not his looks). I'm not sure I would say he's slick, but he has some slickness to him.

Pirog is one of the top 5 slickest fighter in the world today, in my opinion. Great unorthodox defence and, like James Toney, he's able to generate offense out of it.

Bute is slick, hands down with GREAT head movement, but he also relies a lot on his power so he gets hit more than other slicksters.

Sergio Martinez is one of the slickest fighter around but, like Bute, he fell in love with his power and gets hit a bit more than he used to. In fact, I find Bute and Martinez really similar in a lot of ways.

To me, Donaire is american.

Yes gave up. I knew when you couldnt string a single debateable sentence together that it was time to walk away. After I owned you with the previous quote, you rambled on a little about nothing, so I left you to it

Haha whatever, that's rubbish (in your words!). You usually NEVER give up on having the last word but couldn't stand in there with me.

...are you done watching the Simon & Lorenzo fights? Assessing Sylvester much?

This shows how plainly dumb you are. Just watch Sylvesters previous fight with Geale dummy. Do you become shot in your very next fight . Only to fanboys. Guess that means Johnson was shot after Froch when Bute fought him

2008-09 Sylvester's workrate & accuracy > 2010-11 Sylvester's workrate & accuracy

Past it, he slowed down. Deal with it.

What the **** does Johnson being shot or not have to do with Sylvester slowing down?!??

"Comical".

The truth be said there not a whole lot slick fighter in any color now days.. Todays boxing fans prefer street corner brawlers with speed and punching power , then technical fighters who can think and adjust in the ring. Marquez, and Mayweather are a dying breed of the so called slick fighters, after they are gone, im not sure what you would call slick or skilled.
marquez isn't slick
