Where was he willing to walk through anything? He got put on queer street vs Sanders and looked like he didn't know what day it was. Once he was back beating up the out of shape old and fat Sanders he was happy.

Vs Lewis he was happy when his corner pulled him out, yet then started to scream and ball when it got announced that he lost. Strange.

I agree that there may not have been much that Lacy could have done anyway..
But the adversity he faced against Zaghe ruined him, so he kinda fell/folded to the adversity..

roy jones is the big winner here, when real champions face adversity, they stare defeat in the face and come roaring back and pull something out of the bag.

take a look at roy jones - he folded like a lawn chair when faced with adversity, he took banned anabolic steroids, and possessed one of the worst glass jaws the sport has ever seen.

Vitali didnt protest when his corner and the doctor discussed whether to stop the fight or not. It was only after the fight was ended that he did.

A guy like Zaveck protested as soon as they started talking about stopping his fight with Berto.

Dr Vitali said nothing when his corner started putting on butterfly stitches. Nothing.

Only when the ref announced it was over and his suffering had came to an end did he get off his stool and start making a fuss.
