To me, (I dont believe Ive ever called Cintron, or any boxer that) but if I were to call Cintron that, it wouldnt be in the sense that I think hes a ***** or whatnot. This guy has made his life by giving and recieving punches, even the softest boxers are relatively hard dudes, and Cintron knows what its like to lace up a glove, go in front of a crowd and taste his own blood... thats more then most people can say. I give him nothing bust respect in that sense.

To me though, I dont care who someone is, to me if they act like Cintron does in the Martinez fight (if I am wrong please correct me, but I think thats the fight where he does his little gay ass hip **** towards the crowd) in a fight he knows he should have lost... to me thats ***** material, regardless of someones personal toughness (or in Cintrons case, lackthereof in regards to most of his peers)

However, I dont think anything was super disgraceful or embarresing on his part agianst canelo, the guy was getting hit with huge bombs from a very powerful fighter, he actually took quite a lot more shots then I thought he would before folding. I guess Im so used to him being a wet paper towel that I figured hed just quit sooner

I agree with all of this.

I still dont understand how you can get cracked clean with a left hand and say it was a head butt. U know damn well that wasnt a headbutt man. I hate that fight they played Sergio that night. They should change it to a 7th round KO and take away that bs draw smh.

You could tell he was thinking about finding a soft spot on the canvas in the 4th. The little rally after that was just buying some time, putting up a scarecrow to keep Alvarez from pouncing on him too quickly. He wanted out pretty much as soon as Alvarez started landing the right hand and throwing in combination.

I don't either.

He stayed out long enough to ensure there was no more opportunity to resume the action, though.

He didn't jump, but it was a quit job.

I used to defend him from the posters on ESb but you cannot use the "he's a professional boxer! You couldn't do it!" excuse because he is a professional boxer so must act like one.

He's not even trying to do his job to the best of his ability. This isn't a hobby it's a sport, like a job and so he should do it to his best ability.

The guy who said that is an actual pro boxing trainer. I don't know. Could be true.

Cintron's reflexes are pretty shot, and Rodriguez while slow (and a good deal smaller than KC) does seem to have some heavy hands.

he's even small for his weight class. wasn't he like 5'4 or 5'5? looked like him and broner were different weight classes. if he made cintron quit it's like a 5th grader getting sonned by a kindergartner on the playground.

This is Cintron we're talking about.

He probably got beaten up by kindergartners in junior high.
