This fight is pretty much a lock for me, but I give Pacquiao more of a chance than most Floyd fans because of Floyd's age. That's the only way I see Floyd losing is if he goes old over night. This is the same reason why I gave Ortiz a shot at beating Floyd, because of his inactivity and his age. Against Pacquiao, he'll be against a better opponent, but more active.
Compare Floyd to other fighters: Floyd on Cinco De Mayo will be 35 Ray Leonard vs Norris was 34 Oscar vs Floyd was 34 Roy vs Tarver was 34 Pernell vs Oscar was 33 I look back at old fights of Floyd or even the ones from Baldomir or Hatton and I think that there's no way Pac can beat him. But you can also tell Floyd was quicker and more fluid back then also, but not as smart or as strong. But of course Pac is up there in age also and has wear and tear on him, but Floyd has slowed down a lot more compared to Pacquiao. Look at Floyd training for Gatti. you can tell a difference [ame]***********.youtube.com/watch?v=2wFfDvU63lY&feature=player_embedded[/ame] |

Age isnt really relevant for a guy like floyd though, he is always in shape, trains very hard, has a style that is suitable for the long run only thing might be his punch resistance or reflexes going but so far he is doing pretty well, he is also very inactive.

Don't you get tired of discussing the same shit over and over and over and over again? Don't you have opinions on other fighters. Your 'threads created' list reveals an unhealthy obssession with Pacquiao and Floyd. |

arums plan was for floyd to lose his speed or lose anything really, he wanted to get the most money out of pac then fight a worsened floyd, hence wanting jmm pac 4, he expected floyd to lose more than 1 step if ya get me? floyd has only lost his foot speed i think. well his only real lose.

good post-Thats real talk right there-
Pac's age does play a major factor-funny how its the so called "flomos" who understand Pac and his "style/career/keys to win" better than the so called "pacquiao fans" |

Ortiz caught Floyd in this clip, but a prime Floyd could have slipped this easily |

Im hoping he eventually connects with something big and floyd ends up like hatton, that would be amazing but its not the most realistic outcome of this fight. I do feel pac is slipping faster than floyd at this point, he needs this fight next now that he still has some chance, the longer it takes the more difficult it gets. |

ring age is more important where pacquiao is older, has many fights and wars and the style not suited for longetivity. pacquiao has been slipping since the margarito fight and has peaked in the cotto fight. floyd taking his long vacations and his safety first style has preserved him well.

This wasn't even every single thread from the first page of my threads created ![]() Pac has slowed down also and he needs his youth more than Floyd, but Pac can catch Floyd with a shot and that'd be easier to do because of Floyd's reflexes, speed and punch resistance decreasing. Plus Floyd is farther from his peak than Pac. |
