For those of us in the U.S., where is this and Wlad's next fight being shown? ESPN3 or EPIX possibly.

Thanks in advance!

I predict an upset, and a Boswell victory. I'll be honest, I don't know what Boswell has left, but he was once very talented indeed. If Povetkin brings his A game, he should win.

But I'm hedging my bets on Atlas having ruined him.

Look at his hand speed and combos here. Hopefully he gets back into this type of form with an active year coming up. Chagaev already with Boswell and Rahman lined up for the next 3 months. A fight with Klitschko will be massive then.
The kind of countering and speed seen around the 4:30 onwards mark would not surprise me on a much lighter man. However, I feel like Povetkin has lost that a bit, perhaps he fell in love too much with his work rate and stamina (as opposed to the more typical power). If he is as sharp as that then Povetkin will win. If he is as sharp as I remember him looking recently then Boswell should give him a very good run for his money, in fact I tentatively picked Boswell before I had seen that clip....but now I have been reminded of what Povetkin appeared to have (albeit against much weaker opposition), I wonder if he may still have it.

Amazing how many were on Boswell for this fight. I honestly think that most people are simply bigoted against earstwhile Soviet Bloc fighters.

Boswell just blamed the loss on a pre-existing injury to his right hand/shoulder, whatever. No doubt the same posters who were on Boswell will be picking Povetkin's next opponent to defeat him.

Took a few rounds to get going but then Povetkin looked very good against Boswell, looked pretty close to how he looked a few years ago. I think he is going to slightly move up a gear now with each of his next two fights. With Rahman next and then maybe someone else his fight with Wladimir will be huge.
Povetkin was very impressive last night.

I was on Boswell because I think he was a talented fighter and I didn't think Atlas was doing Povetkin any favours.. I've nothing against Povetkin, and the fact that he won is better for the division, being far younger than Boswell. I still think Povetkin is better off without Atlas. If Povetkin comes up against the Klits, damn right I'll be predicting a loss for Povetkin!

I agree. For the record I did not mean you specifically with my comments. They were directed more towards some other flotsam that dropped in on this thread with their same tiresome rhetoric.

I didn't think Povetkin still had it in him. I was very pleased to see him fight like that again (albeit disappointed that his unexpected resurgence resulted in me make a poor fight pick!)
