I think all of those wars Crocop had in K-1 and Pride may have finally caught up with him. Those were brilliant battles - against the best fighters of the past decade. That is no small accomplishment. Crocop's subsequent rise to prominence in MMA is a testament to his capabilities as an elite kickboxer.

If he is not entirely finished - but simply ad******g to the new environment in the UFC, then Crocop can still come back and be a threat in the heavyweight division. Those K-1 champions like Aerts, Hoost, Hug, and Hunt could lose to each other on any given night. That said, they were good enough to beat the men that on any given night, could have beaten any man in the world.

Randy Couture's two victories against younger, stronger opponents that were favored to win, put him at the top. When he was supposed to lose, Randy Couture shined. He freed us from having to endure any more of Tim Silvia's lethargic title defenses.

Agreed.CC has been doing this for some time. The guys had many fights in the K-1 and PRIDE and now monetary wise is comfortable.I dont think he has the desire anymore. His a very proud fighter and will more than likely prefer to go out on a win.Although personally i think CC has done. The CC that wanted a title back in the OWGP is gone.

NAw its got to Rampage by a mile.He destroyed Liddell and created the first "unification" of sorts with the PRIDE and UFC titles by taking on the next best thing in Dan Hendersen. His had a great year.
