Default Robert Helenius Vs. Dereck " Del Boy " Chisora Fight Breakdown:

Can also be found in the general :

The hard hitting Robert Helenius will face the always well conditioned ( ) and also hard hitting Dereck Chisora for the vacant EBU Eroupean Title. Chisora not getting KTFO depends on 1 thing, Is he AT ALL conditioned. If he is in shape, I still think he gets stopped late but we got a good fight. This is part of a good heavyweight doubleheader, Along with Povetkin-Boswell, It will be shown on EPIX in the USA and Boxnation in the UK.

Robert Helenius ( 16-0-0 ):

Basics: Very powerful, But here is the problem, He never even engages in the fight until the mid-late rounds, He Lets himself get outworked. He did it with Samuel Peter and Sergei Liakhovich. The Peter fight he was about equal with Peter on the scores, He was behind verses Liak I thought. Helenius is powerful but that is a huge Flaw, Just letting early rounds slip away, Sure he has the power to stop many of his opponents but not everyone. He needs to bring up his workrate or he will be viewed as more boring then the Klitschkos and even loose fights. But as I said he has the power to often stop tough opponents like the Samuel Peter and Sergei Liakhovich.

Power: 8 out of 10. Very good KO's of Peter, Liakhovich and Brewster.

Resume: Samuel Peter, Sergei Liakhovich, the late Lamon Brewster.

Ranking: Top 5 Heavyweight

Style: Orthodox, Slow starting power puncher.

--------------------

Dereck Chisora ( 15-1-0 ):

Basics: He gained much interest as a top prospect when he stopped Danny williams in just 2 rounds about a 1 year and a half ago when Williams was the BBBoC Heavyweight Champion, He made his first British Title defense against fellow british prospect Sam ***ton, He won by TKO late, Now he went on to the british Superfight with Tyson Fury. Everyone hyped it up, And for good reason, But that ended at Chisora's rematch, When he came in fat and unconditioned. It lost him respect too, His biggest fight and he comes in like this? It isn't right, He lost a Wide UD to Fury, When he had a big chance of beating Fury at a decent weight. He lost many fans there... Anyways recently he fought journeyman Remigijus Ziausys, In better shape then verses Fury, Ge lost like 20lbs. And despite not being able to stop the tough journeyman, He won by a shutout. Hopefully he comes in decent shape for Helenius, Or he has lost before the fight has started.

Power: Good. 7.5 out of 10. Great KO to Danny Williams.

Resume: Loss to Tyson Fury. Stoppage wins to Sammy ***ton and Danny Williams.

Ranking: Hard to say. Not top 10.

Style: Orthodox

-------------------------------------

Del boy cannot take Helenius's power. Gets stopped like Peter. Helenius KO 9.

I think that before he gets stopped we will see him just standing there without any idea on what to do, just trying to do some ineffective balancing. Don't expect anything close to war. After 2-3 competitive rounds this would turn into 'Helenius patiently waiting' type of fight with bleeding Chisora

Still I'm quite excited about this one

The power ratio doesn't jive. No way Chisora is 7.5 if Helenius is only an 8.

I can just say...I was soooo wrong. I even had Chisora winning like 116-112. I misjudged him. He really did some good job with himself after Fury loss

I heard that Robert's right hand broke in the first round.

Chisora was good and better.

Yes it is. He hurt his right hand in first round, but it seems that no surgery is needed. There are rumours that Robert will defend his title in march. They have negotiated with Dimitrenko!

What the....

He lost the fight, but a man who had bested three former titlists is not a "fraud."

He lost a fight is all.
