too little, too late. he'll go down in history as peaking against kessler, echols, green. between 2003-2006.

its over, bar the failing ppv figures...but the fat lady has sung. choc just wont listen.

He has been calling out names for so long now, I doubt he will do anything, I've always said I would support him if he stepped up, but I just don't think he will, if he does I think you will see him go down the same path as green, these 2 should retire and promote the up and comers, maybe even keep the rivalry going in that way,

We all know Mundine will never step up but why doesn't he do what Greeny did and get out a former great who is now shot. Why doesn't Mundine try and get out a Cory Spinks or a Shane Mosely ?

I agree and Spinks would probably beat him also at 154 lbs but you know what I mean. He should try and get out a name that the general sports fan would probably know who is well past it.

Not a bad idea really........I honestly think mundine thinks he is on the same level an athlete as bhop and thinks he will be able to fight on into his 40's hence the reason he doesn't seem to be rushing to fight all these guys. I think he was done after the geale fight !

Mundine waffles on about being the money man but he wouldn't even spring another $100k to get Trout out here, instead he paid for Canelo's redheaded stepchild brother to come out so as to delay the inevitable.

He always whines about the big names avoiding him but he wouldn't even shell out $100k to get Trout out here.

That's all you need to know.

Cory Spinks is not a big name in Australia. I seriously doubt anyone outside of this forum would have even heard of him.

How about trying to lure a 47 year old Fenech out of retirement, for one last circus act?

I would literally be in shock if Trout was selected as his next opponent.

Fenech wouldn't be able to live with himself after being humiliated by Mundine in a boxing ring in 2012.

Trouts next fight will be in Aus, he's got nowhere else to go and he will get a lot less than he was asking first up. After the Lo Porto fiasco he would be flat out drawing 3 people and a dog in the states let alone a PPV deal. As his mandatory Mundine holds all the cards, the fight will go to a purse bid, no promoter in the states would touch it with a 40 ft. pole. Trout has 2 options...... fight Mundine in Aus, on Mundines deal or vacate.
Trout could also challenge Cotto if he could find a backer with the sqillions Cotto would demand but we all know that aint gonna happen.
