Default GSP in the early UFCs

Did u see what royce gracie who was a one dimensional did back then? GSP would have won with his wrestling and submission. It would be interesting to see him against heavyweights like kimo or shamrock or severn.

But i think he would win.

Shamrock has an interesting chance against GSP. Especially if he knows what he is going up against.

Shamrock had the grappling/size to overpower GSP IMO. People have forgotten how good he actually was.

People tend to look at his fuckup against Gracie the first time. and Gracie laying in the guard hanging on for life the second time around.

Very difficult to say. GSP has obviously benefited in terms of his style from previous fighters. Would he have looked the same as he does now? Or 5 years ago? Or at the beginning of his career? Who knows. Based on talent and athleticism he would have gone far. But i think his first tussle with Matt Hughes is a good indication of where he would have failed.

Is it the hungry gsp that finished fights and was a crows favorit or "the new and improved" gsp?
