So he went to the army, came out after the war, was 100k in debt, made 600k from a fight, somehow after paying the 100k debt he was only left with less than 100k. He has a few more fight, making a few 100k's more, but somehow he ended up 500k in debt.
That don't even make sense. |

i'm a big fan of Joe Louis and I did like that film, but why call it "america's hero betrayed?" I never got that. He wasted all his money and didn't pay his taxes, anybody else does that the IRS comes a knockin' too. So if you're the champ then you get a waiver? I don't get that. Being a champ or serving time in the Armed Forces does not give you a pass on tax burdens last I checked.
