The Hype a Fighter Thread

It's time to talk about some guys that are not proven but have the potential to do big things in MMA.

I will start with Stefan Struve

He is almost 7ft tall and has solid kickboxing and BJJ.

In the leadup to his last fight vs. Pat Barry, Stefan said that he expected the fight to be violent and exciting; "A Stefan Struve kind of fight".

Fight Day. What Happens?

Struve makes his atmosphere by controlling Barry with his reach in the 1st, then in the 2nd when Barry got too close, Struve got his legs around him for a triangle, BUT THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH,

Struve then made Barry completely bitchblike by whispering sweet nothings in Barry's ear in front of Barry's friends and family.

Stuve has the potential to be a HW contender for many years if he improves his reach knowledge so he does not get hit as often. Can he get there? I don't know, but he will be one of the most interesting fighters in MMA in any case.

John Dodson is another.. I know he just got into The UFC, but the man is going straight to the top, mark my words. Extremely explosive and agile, I look forward to watching him advance

Struve, Dodson, and Davis are all Glass Jawed Jokes. This has already been proven in Struve's case and the circumstantial evidence is pointing to Dodson and Davis also having Fragile Glass Mandibles.

Davis refuses to test the waters standing, AT ALL, and when punches are coming anywhere near him he looks terrified and goes into wrestlemode. Dodson doesn't get hit much and he's never been hit by a good puncher but he appears genuinely bothered when it happens and he also tends to back up and go into slick black mode which, incidentally, is what happened in all five fights that he lost. He got hit, went completely defensive, and did nothing but survive the fights. He could just be a mental midget or he could have a Glass Jaw. Time will tell for both of these guys.

As you watch so much MMA then certainly you can contribute more to this thread than repeating said fighter's names and saying that they have glass jaws. What's the deal?!
