Mundine can get a fight with Kessler any time he wants - he just have to give Team Palle a call - although Kessler might not be a "cheap" this time around.
Why would Mundine want to fight Kessler?

It would just end up Kessler with his WBA belt again.

Mundine will never beat Kessler, as Kessler has improved just as much as Mundine has since their last fight, probably more.
A glance at their opponents since they fought each other tells a good story.

Kessler will only continue to grow and improve considering his age, and particularly from the loss to Calzaghe.
Mundine has done very little by comparison, since Kessler.

Agreed.

Losing 12 rounds to Calzaghe is far more valuable to a boxer than beating up bums.

Kessler will always beat Mundine.

The problem is Mundine aint interested in any more L's on his record and this means we are in for more top 50's and less top 10's and no top 3's.

TBH, I think Mundine goes into the ring with more confidence in a rematch with Kessler, but once Kessler starts landing those heavy combos, Mundine will be on his bike/in his shell, and the outcome will be the same - UD to Kessler

Kessler didnt land anything significant on Mundine in their first fight apart from good jabs. All I know it will be the same Kessler, I cant see how he has improved, he is still the same jab right hand move straight backwards mechanism he always has been and noone can convince me otherwise.

I stand by my thoughts that Mundine does a better job this time.

Yeh even JC stuggled with Kess's bombs at times and got tagged quite cleanly with shots that woulda sent mundine to the canvas.

Kessler still an awsome fighter, the only L on his record is due to someone who appears to be unbeatable.

Calz has been tagged alot easier than Mundine over his career, it comes with his aggresive mentality. Joe is a very busy fighter.

There is no better reference than Kess v Mundine first fight. Kessler struggled to hit Mundine cause he is HARD to hit not because Kessler was unfit or 39.34% fit. He struggled to hit Mudine. I will agree with Mutt that the best bet is Kess UD.

Now you know this isn't true teke

Kessler near wiped Mundine's schnozz across his face with a big right hand in one of the middle rounds, can't remeber which one exactly, but even Barry Michaels says it broke his nose.

There were also plenty of bombs hitting Mundine's gloves when he was curling up in the corner and on the ropes that were having an effect on him.

Sorry i should have said consistently land damaging blows on him, even Kessler said in the post fight interview he was hard to catch.

Just rewatching Mundine v Green now. Green landed some really good blows down below. It was a good competitive fight in my opinion. Mundine just had the edge.

Hey man, do you have Kessler vs Calzaghe too? That and Green vs Mundine are 2 fights I haven't seen since I watched them live...from memory, Green chased Mundine's body but had little effect - he should have switched to headhunting after the first few rounds just to mix things up a bit and keep Mundine guessing, but he just kept doing the same thing rd after rd...
