Default Joe Rogan's performance last night / who should commentate in general.

What was up with that?

I usually enjoy Joe Rogan's commentary, but something seemed off with him last night. He was WAY more irritating and unlikeable than he usually is.

Anyone else think the same?

Is he under pressure behind the scenes? IMO they need to get rid of Goldberg and Buffer, but Rogan should stay. He's been there since the start pretty much. Throw Bas on with Rogan for a couple of cards and see how that works out.

Never heard him last night, yeah he's usually good, but heard a lot of bad stuff about him on Saturday. Maybe the drugs

Agree they should can Buffer and Goldberg. Both irritating fannybaws. Schavallo or whatever his name is would be my first choice

Buffer is just shit

Love him, didn't notice anything different at all, was probably just more loud because shit was going down, and Jon Jones was fighting.

Also, Rogan doesn't smoke weed when he's announcing.

He is human so he'll have ups and downs but Rogan is the best commentator in MMA history.

Cue comments on The Voice and Bas...

Bas is too chill for what the UFC wants, they want screamers.

'The Voice' is by far one of the worst commentators I've ever heard, only marginally beaten by Strikeforce Mauro Ranallo. (Pride Ranallo was pretty decent...then he decided to go full retard).

I really like Rogan's podcast and listen to it all the time...but I've always found his commentary annoying, he has a really high pitched whiney nasal voice, especially when screaming. But meh......there are honestly no two better than Rogan/Goldberg at what the UFC want without the commentators becoming ridiculous

Bas and Rogan wouldn't work because they'd both have the same job of "technical" explanations of what's going on rather than the guy who organizes everything and makes sure there's no dead air and such, which Goldie does. They really could get someone, ANYONE else though to do it. He's such a fanboy and fills the silences with such bullshit that it really is the worst in sports. A professional guy like Bob Sheridan or something would be much better. I'm surprised they haven't done it yet.
