How so?
He has 0 grappling experience or training. It would take at minimum a year to get the basic fundamentals down. And that would just be good against bums but if he ever came up against someone good then Floyd is facing a beating.

Not to mention his hands would be a crumpled mess after punching with his baby hands in those 4oz gloves.

Guys have fought in the UFC after training for 2 years. They never made waved but they did make it to the big leagues. PBF, is a natural athlete who is gifted, has all day to train and is already the best boxer in the world.

I believe it would take him a fraction of the time to be ready as it would take anyone else. I mean Kimbo has a deal.................

What do you mean by supeior athlete? How is he a superior athlete to a lot of MMA fighters? Are the olympics now a barometer on how athletic someone is?
I don't think so. Even if it was there are plenty of Olympians in MMA to match PBF's Athleticism.

pbf is a great athlete. if one is a better athlete than the next person then he/she would theoretically be better than the next person at pursuing athletic activities that involve strength, speed, stamina, etc.

yeah. so in theory pbf should rule mma.

But Floyd won't be facing people of the same skill, he'll be facing master grapplers at BJJ, wrestling, judo. He'll have to deal with strikers from different arts. How will PBF cope when a fighter puts his hands around his head, pulls it down makes him say hello to Mr Knee?

He may dominate the slower weaker opponents in boxing but when he comes to fight someone who has more skill than him in more areas, PBF will get a mudhole stomped in him. Period.

the same exact argument you make against pbf could be made against the people going up against floyd. i mean, how are his oponents going to deal with a stand up striking artist? not just any striking artist but the best in the world.

the argument is not going to go anywhere. i will belive that pbf will dominate and you will belive otherwise. as larry merchant says, "lets agree to disagree"

It's a lot easier for a wrestler to take it to the ground than for a boxer to keep it standing.

thats the thing though. there is one important fact that you are ignoring. pbf isn't "just some striker." he is pbf, one of the greatest boxers in the history of the sport.
