Default Bute vs Ward in a Canadian stadium but with US officials - fair?

Say whatever you want, but if a fighter can sell out a soccer stadium at home - and Bute certainly can, he has insane ticket draw power - that fighter should not cut purse and travel just because - because it makes no sense.

Why not stage Bute vs. Ward (or Bute vs. Froch) in Canada, BOTH earning more cash than anywhere else, and have a US ref and US judges so hometown issue wouldn't be an issue?

Is it fair ?

It would be fair under those guide lines but Ward would never agree to it,

that is a good plan there you came up with. Ward and Bute would sell out

and both would make massive paydays

Any stadium. Point being the stadium, I'm sure our Canadian posters can name a few.

No. It's gotta be neutral.

Probably referring to the August date at the PEPS stadium (around 25K people).

Froch would have to decline a rematch after the April fight if this scenario is to go down.

I'm in the US, and a Ward fan but I can't see how a US ref, and all US judges can be seen as fair? At least on paper.

That said, with an impartial ref and judges, don't see how anyone can beat Ward on the score cards. Only by KO.

What about ref and judges from four neutral countries? I think the arrangement at every international title fight should be so btw.

Then they'll take a massive hit in sales. For it to sell as well as it can its got to be in Canada. Can understand Ward being nervous but I can't see it selling as well in the US. He'll have to bite the bullet and travel if he genuinely wants the fight.

Bute can sell out a football stadium? Based on what? Theres a big difference between 16K seat Bell Centre and a 45-55K seat stadium, and sorry but Bute isn't that big, even at home. He couldn't sell that out even in Romania.

As others said, it's gotta be neutral. Why should the #1 SMW travel to someone else's backyard when he's putting the bulk of the titles on the line. Bute can travel for once if he's so sure of winning.

Think as a compromise. Bute's backyard, Ward's judges and Dre can't ****ing have a word about it.

There's insane demand for Bute tickets even vs. nonames. Vs. Ward, a stadium is doable. Montreal is also close to the US so American fans can travel cheap.

Then again... would you please name the neutral country? That makes money sense.

Ward should travel to Canada to MAKE MORE MONEY it's as simple as that.
