The HW is dead! There are the Klitschkos and no one will fight them exept ex Cruiser who need the money. The 2. and 3. guard don´t fight each other and wait of a titelshot beforen then they fight bums.

when was the last big HW Fight in USA? Sometimes there are some good matchups like Dimitrenko vs Pulev, or Helenius vs Chisora but such fights are realy rarely

The poll is poorly formulated as the best choice is "As good or better than it ever was" whereas the heavyweight division today is clearly bigger and better and more international in scope than it ever was before, the constant litany of the politically corrected USSA media pundits, parroted endlessly on dumb assed boxing forums, notwithstanding.

Media hyped American "super-heroes" of the past, like Clay alias Ali etc. never even fought one single Russian or eastern European, or Cuban ex-pat or black African either for that matter. They weren't even participating in pro boxing until the 1990's. They are now, and the results are all too obvious. Also, modern heavies are much bigger and stronger than in the past. Clay-Ali was busy getting faked wins over guys who weighed only in the 180's. They'd look like little kids in the ring with today's super heavies. And that brings up another important issue - boxing badly needs more heavy weight divisions, at the very least one more.

Russia - You have the 'great' Povetkin who got a gift against crusierweight Marco Huck. Boystov who looked ordinary and having had plateaued against a used-up Dominick Gunn. The hairy ape Valuev who has been awol the past couple years.

Poland - Like that kid Spilka or however you spell his name. Poles are usually not america hating butt munchers. They appreciate what the United States did for them in WW II.
