Yeah, kind of saw that when I was collecting the picks, but also saw that the supposedly 10-9 round(Velez-Sanchez) is actuality a 10-10, If somehow I haven't passed by a pick change.

Hmmm..... this brings up a very good point Beast. Good question.

* If you pick Malden as your voluntary defense.... you would have only unified the titles if Malden is still the peoples champ when you secure victory. So if hes peoples champion next week (which he wont be! ) and you are able to knock him out within the first couple rounds in your next fight, then you will have unified the titles.

If he loses the peoples championship along the way, before you get the official W over him (if it goes 12 rounds and hes lost it before the 12th round) then you will no longer be awarded the Peoples Title upon victory.

However, if by some crazyness malden has the title when you challenge him, loses it in between, and then wins it back before the WBK fight is over, and is champion again when you beat him, you will take the title from him.

Hope I put that in a way that makes sense.

Its going to be very hard I would think, to unify the titles.

It works for now.
Bottom line is that at the end of WBK title bout your opponent needs to be holding the PPl's belt to be able to make a unification.

I really need to win this peoples championships.... otherwise Im looking at a very embarassing championship record

Thing is I want to change my pick to Pac SD (like I wanted to change to Trout UD but didnt cuz I thought hed get robbed so went with the Cotto SD)

But Im gonna stick with JMM and hope that the judges this week are half as honest as the ones last week.

Interesting thing is that two of the judges are the same. Adelaide Byrd and Steve Weisfeld. I think much will depend on how Marquez is gonna fight. If he does the usual countering he might win with these judges.

Will be reformating the Featured Fight archive for 2013... have already started on my computer, I will probably be doing away with having the forum links to the individual pages and just stick with having only the videos.

Also I would like to do videos on other things, like have one for each year, for our records and whatnot.... but I just dont think I have the time to fit that in until Ive backlogged alllll the featured fights from 08, 09, 10, and 11'.

Ya, against a star like Pac, JMM has got to know that backing up while counterpunching will likely lead to another L, even if it shouldnt.

But that means the judges are taking away who JMM is as a fighter. For him to fight differently is just him playing into Pacs hands.

Oh well.... we will see.
