I'm glad to see at least a few reasonable people here today... I was feeling pretty alone.

Cotto doesnt have the right hand, the counterpunching skills, and more importantly, the ring IQ of Marquez...Once things start to get tough for him, i cant see him making the adjustments needed to get back...It was one thing to look excellent against a slow, no defense one eyed Margo, but Pacquiao is a whole diffrent beast.

Assuming this all takes place at 147lbs, at 154lbs he may have a beter chance cus of the weight, but i seriously doubt Team Pacquiao would accept a fight at that weight.

I would argue with you... but it would feel a bit strange because of your avatar.

Id like to see your arguments, after all this is a forum to discuss boxing.

As for the avatar, i am a fan of Cotto, but i mostly have this due to losing an AV bet. (still a cool AV, but id rather have the JMM one i was rocking before).

The only way I would be interested in this fight is if it was at 154 for Cotto's belt. Then Pac could have a legit claim to a light middleweight belt.

This is kind of a consolation prize in my view.

If they did acctually sign the fight with cotto, they are just trying to fuck over Floyd too, because they knew that cotto was floyds 2nd choice...so that leave Floyd with limited options...jmm is a lose lose situation, martinze is busy with a fight, Bradley is with top rank and isn't a draw, khan is busy, Peterson is busy...

If he'd be willing to fight Cotto at 154, why would he not fight Sergio at 154?

Pac-Bradley is the best fight that could be made if Mayweather fight is off.
