Hopkins and Jones are one step ahead of Toney IMO. Jones was the best fighter when he was young but Hopkins accomplished more so i rate him no1,

IMO, Toney is more accomplished than B-Hop, but his steroid usage + constant obesity has ruined his legacy for me.

I don't care how many "ATGs" he beat, he's a fat **** that has cheated with steroids more than once, and those are only the times he got caught.

Even more annoying is the legion of Toney fans that claim that he was, at the same time a starved middleweight and a blown-up middleweight. Toney is a natural MW/SMW, that's a fact. He may have been drained at 160, but he only got up to cruiser/heavyweight because he lacks discipline and ate himself into a new wardrobe.

The man was still fighting at 160 20+ fights into his career. Even if he grew out of 160, there was NO need for him to ever go past 168. He was a natural middleweight that later grew into a super middleweight, who then proceeded to stuff his fat ****ing face until he was a grotesquely obese heavyweight.

1.Hopkins

2-3. Toney and Jones very close, with Jones maybe beating Toney by a hair.

Jones>>>>>Hopkins>>Toney

Although Toney is a better boxer than B-Hop in his prime IMO. He was just a fanny who went off the rails.

How can anyone seriously consider Toney over Jones?

At least when Jones was getting beaten, he wasn't a fatass and he was facing good fighters.

He also trashed Ruiz, something Toney couldn't do.

Hopkins has the better resume, or at least he has not embarrassed himself as much as Jones has (yet - he will, if he fights Calzaghe). Jones is by far the most skilled fighter, and while his four(!!)-weightclass reign of terror is incredibly impressive, what he is doing now is tarnishing his resume. But a prime RJJ is miles ahead of both Hopkins and Toney - as was displayed in his fights against them.
