Well Mavrovich was no bum but let's face the truth: he wasn't any better than mediocre guys like Dimitrenko or Sosnowski neither.

The truth is an unmotivated Lewis carried Mavrovich for 12 rounds in a fight that really should have lasted 5 rounds and should have ended with Mavrovich being brutally KOd.

No way Sosnowski takes shots like that and keeps pressing his opponent, and Dimitrenko would've his pants full of shit against Lewis long before an opening bell.

Remember that Mavrovic retired just after this fight, so IMO he was a kind of underachiever - while he wasn't a top fighter, he could give everybody run for his money, based on his chin and heart alone.
