Gene Fullmer would stop Nunn over 15.

No, Monzon never beat anyone who was as good a MW as Kalambay.
Interesting but in this case irrelevant ultimately. It would be like picking Rubin Carter over say Bernard Hopkins because he blitzed Emile Griffith, who was better than any middleweight Hopkins bested.

I can`t see Monzon outboxing Nunn at all, especially within 10 rounds, I could see Monzon winning (even tho my pick was Nunn) but stylewise I think Monzon has his work cut out here.

Ps. for the record I`d pick Nunn over Hopkins too, not that that has anything to do with the thread but its a fight I`ve thought about before & in my head picked Nunn on points.... he`s obviously not as great as either Monzon or Hopkins tho, that however doesn`t mean shit in a head to head one-off primes fight.

Kalambay was still greater than Nunn.

In your dreams, Sumbu fanboy!

Nunn would beat Fullmer to death!

And on a completely unrelated note...
Khaosai is the greatest lower-weight fighter of all time.

Yeah, it does. I'm hijacking this thread to appreciate Gene Fullmer, a better middleweight with a better resume with an equally befuddling style to Nunn's with more longevity and a better chin. So there.
