Ahmed Öner has won the purse bid for the Benjamin Simon vs. Dominik Britsch fight (IBF Inter-Continental middleweight title), scheduled to take place on February 25th.
Sauerland's unbeaten middleweight Britsch has to travel to Turkey to fight Simon now, as Öner bid $183k ($50k more than Sauerland). Why did Sauerland let that happen? Britsch one of their best prospects. Source: ***********.bild.de/sport/startseite/sport/telegramm-15873394,textId=22262088,tabindex=0.bild.html |

Kelle Sauerland said a couple of weeks ago they have a lot of talented young fighters they must choose from. There are some who have recently arrived from Eastern Europe hoping to be signed by Sauerland, Germany's best promoter.
Britsch is technically a good boxer but he's not an exciting fighter. Neither is Henry Weber, that's why he was cashed out. They want to keep exciting guys like Dustin Dirks, who are good for ticket sales and TV ratings. |

Lets see what Simon can do against someone good, after his fight with Soliman was cancelled due to his injury.
