Denis Boytsov vs. Darnell Wilson

I'm not sold on Boytsov, at least as far as his future world-class potential goes. If this fight were taking place in an American ring, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a Wilson upset win. Wilson is still tough, he's savvy, and even at heavyweight (not his natural division) he's still got some pop. But the bout is taking place in Germany, and there's no way that Boytsov's backers will allow Wilson to win. My prediction is Boytsov by legitimate UD, or Boytsov by robbery UD. An outside possibility is Boytsov by fake TKO, which could happen if the Euro ref has any ridiculous excuse to waive the action off.

If Boytsov knocks out then it's always before 7.5 so I put 500 on this...
and 400 just on him...dunno why the odds are low;P But who cares ;D

Unlucky. Had you been quicker (or more like in the right place at the right time, happening to be lurking in the two hour or so window between the creation of the two threads) you'd have gotten a fresh bank of $75 once Spinks vs. Powell went up.

It's always before 7.5 because most of Boytsov's opponents are very, very carefully selected. Let's not overlook that some of Boytsov's "stoppages" are fakes. The Gavern TKO win is one example: that fight should never have been stopped, and wouldn't have been stopped, except that it took place on Boytsov's home turf.

Keep in mind that Wilson's lone stoppage loss at heavyweight -- a 7th round TKO loss to Gavern -- was due to a facial cut. There's reason to believe that the cut was caused by a head butt. Until the end, Wilson was dishing out at least as much as he took. The fight probably should have gone to a technical decision, and not a TKO.

Darnell shouldn't have any trouble going the route with Boytsov, assuming the playing field is anything close to level.

This fight is in Germany...if Boytsov decides to bring baseball bat then nobody will forbid him

Plus someone's gotta be first to take Wilson down;P
