Untested IMO. His biggest claim to fame was keeping up with an out of shape PBF a while back

Not a legend, but certainly a very good fighter!

Mike Acri was his manager. Arci took over from Donald Majeski as a booking agent for Bill Mordey after a disagreement over money. Mordey was never able to make big fights after that, so maybe Acri couldn't move a boxer like Spadafora into big fights.

He was very talented, and even though its sparring, he was one of the first pieces of evidence that floyd is a bit troubled by southpaws. Corley and ortiz gave floyd spots of trouble too, you can tell floyd isnt as comfortable with a lefty.

Spaddy with floyd:

I never rated him to highly...I suspect him being a decent white east coast boxer helped his reputation.

He was ****ed against Sosa...IMO lucky to get past Manfredy and Dorin.
Couldn't see him beating Johnston or Castillo..I think even a 98-2000 Grigorian probably edges past him but thats a bout like that would likely hinge on where it is being held..it would be 12 round amatuer point fest that one.

Had a very good left down the pipe though..not a very hard punch but good for scoring.

Well 45-0 lightweight champ for a number of years..but at the same time,he didn't really fight any superstars..A mayweather bout was on the cards before he was jailed..and even talked about as a opponent as recent as last year

To give you you an idea The lightweight champs where fighting for about $250000 /300.000 . DLH was fighting for 14mil and the Aussie dollar was $0.47. Did it mean Oscar was a better fight ? probably not but it is all the perception . The golden boy of US sport.
