Well, so much for that. It turns out he was living in a West End hotel in Boston in the early 50s.

The problem is, the whole West End neighborhood was demolished between '58-60.

Great find Thanks Rocky.....Something tells me Sam lived a full life with many great memories...That smile that laugh, sounds like a man that could rebound from anything. I think the times could have offered him a few more opportunities but he made the best of what he had and had quite a career...I got my guitar and I got my memories...seems like a man content
