I wouldn't discount him solely based on Wlodarczyk. Everything you said about watching him fight is true but i fault him not Lapin. Either way him and Gmitruk are very good trainers who never get credit outside Poland. Truth is their both top 20 in the sport.

Any word on Korobov yet?
*********** (another boxing site) mentioned he would be on the Rios undercard - that clearly didn't happen.

But, you just don't know about Korobov - chances are he'd come back with another fight with Findley.

I was following Korobov when he was making his first pro steps. Lately, I lost him on my radar. No big fights for him. It seems that he is stepping on the same spot, fighting the same level opponents. No fight for more than 6 months.

I read he was supposed to fight on Rios card in April and that didn't happen. I expected to see him on either the Pacquiao or Chavez undercards in June but he's not listed there either. He was just commenting this was the year he was stepping up to 10 rounders with some decent competition too. Really sad progress, but I think once he fights a few decent fighters he'll be right in the mix for a title given how poor everyone else's ring activity is.
