Yes, five years from now I believe this will be known either as an A) much deserved stay busy fight waiting for Pac IV, or B) one of or the last hurrah in the ring.

Yeah, it's pretty goofy. It's clearly the overwhelming focal point of the match being made. 1 KO. Really?
I figured, "what would people most likely search for that would relate to this..." --- (yes, I'm well aware this means literally nothing, but...) Boxrec has Cuenca as the 28th best fighter in the world at JWW. He is the somewhat long time Argentina and WBO Latino 140 champs. He's a 31 year old southpaw. Just random, but you can't tell me that HBO or Showtime wouldn't buy this if it were Alvarado or perhaps even a moderate fighter like McCloskey, Provodnikov, or Theophane. At the very least, the last three names listed would actually earn even more respect for JMM, who deserves if ever a fighter does to take a somewhat easy fight. |

looks quite good. A couple of points: 1) that record is one of the craziest i've ever seen. It doesn't even look like he punches that soft . 2) Suprised at the choice of opponent. on 1st glance he looks like someone that could cause a few problems, or soeone that will be hard to look good against. I'd expect Marquez to challenge his specialty, A comeforward brawler he could pick apart. Someone with a good chin to give him a few rounds. Like Dias. |

When Pac fought Velazquez before taking the 2nd fight with Morales, I didn't see Velazquez as a big risk at all. Not many people can do what Juan is doing. Let's see Pac fight at the same level Marquez is at when Manny is 38 yrs old. When you arguably beat Pac and jumped up in weight to fight Mayweather who came in over the weight limit you can do pretty much whatever you want. JMM has fought the best. It makes no sense to take unnecessary risks (unless he can make over 5 mil fighting Rios) at this point in Marquez's career. He wants Pac and if that's not a dangerous fight I don't know what is.
