You guys have to admit, Cuenca is definitely a step up from JMM's last tune-up opponent, Likar "Pretend To Sleep" Ramos.

The Ramos and Cuenca fights are simply to bide time and cash in on good low risk paydays.

Always? Kind of foolish to say if you are dead serious, which it sounds like you are.

Even if he were to beat Pacquiao, Rios, Khan, Bradley, Mayweather, Mayweather again, Alvarez, Cotto, and Sergio before he retired?

Way to show how close minded you are. You make opinions about things and REFUSE to ever sway or even consider to adapt that thought...

Irrelevant. Boxing training is very, very tough mentally and physically. If your motivation goes, or you feel you have achieved everything you have in the sport...training becomes like a chore. It seems like Marquez will only get the motivation and dedication to go through a hard, grueling camp and bout if his opponent is Pacquiao.
