personally i think tyson did it, it would explain alot of things about him in his prime. the movement the such powerful phsique for someone 5,11, the 3 mile jog aint long, and the bike aint that long either for a pro fighter i would have thought... this wouldnt be everyday in and out, but more like 3 out of 7 days for maybe 4 weeks leading into a fight i can definately believe it....

nar not that bit man lol, but i still believe he trained that just without some of the ridiculous things like a 50pound back packl to keeo him from growing taller...
anywayz mark onto you, do you do explosive work? like a circuit work that incorporates jumps, burpies, squats, exlosive pushups feet of floor ont eh way up and clap on chest, dips, all like quicks sets doing around 5 repetitions of each? alot of am boxers that do it feel it helps them and im sure theres no reason why you cant implement it as your fighting a four rounder aswell and will want to be more explosive then ever....

i do olympic weightlifting for explosiveness, nothing better, nothing better for core strength either, im am very experienced with strength and conditioning even train athletes and nothing can beat olympic weightlifting for power, not to mention if you do alot of reps your heart rate goes through the roof very quickly

Best of luck Bobby, can wait to see you fight for the first time this year.

The Tyson training was a bit much for me to believe, and only eating steak, pasta and friut juice, i dont think so, what about veggies!!!!

Anyway, ill have a look at and add on the blog, thanks for inviting us have a say also.

I have no idea about training but Tyson regime to me seems fine to me.

What areas dont you agree with in this workout?

the volume, if this was a daily routine and he was a natural athlete he would be overtraining, not to mention the lack of carbohydrates and vegetables for such a heavy workload, and where is the progression? how does he improve every week, does he add volume, decrease rest, increase intensity week by week, it just seems like something he or some internet guy made up

Looking at Holys training it does seem like someone just made up Tysons and posted it here. It was very simplified.

tysons may be true it may not, i think it is just made up, but boxing training is very backward compared to other sports so maybe it is true, but i dont think anyone shoulod copy it and expect to be like tyson

I want to do more investigation into boxers training methods. It is a very interesting subject and every fighter would be different.
