Good luck mate, I'm sure you'll do us proud.

Unfortunately I wont be able to fly over as your conditioning coach. Its a shame too, I'd been training hard on the PS2 and on the twins Wii but also looks like I've pulled a thumb cartilage ligament join. Or something.

Remember our deal, you win, I take the credit. Jose Torres will have nothing on my book!

Seriously, best of luck, hope its the start of a big year for you.

Mark how old are you??

Also what are you goals for 08 and beyond?

You seem like a smart dude so you would obviously have some goals set out.

hi mark. i want to ask your opinion to see if you agree or have any suggestions. i read that for stamia its good to run for 3 minutes and be able to do 800 meters in that time. by how ever many rounds you do. say 800m in 3 mins X 3. as well as doing normal training and jogging. what do you think?

i would PM you but i cant.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

Sorry I'm a bit woozy with the flu, second time round. You come across very level headed and well focused and I am sure you will do very well in 2008

I think its time for Mark to step it up a bit.
Tutaki aint really much of a start to be honest.

Tutaki is dangerous in short fights a 4 rounder really suits him because he even if he doesnt train hard he knows he can go 2 rounds as hard as he can and if he wins thouse then just survive the last 2 and maybe sneak a W. Im sure Mark is aware of this.

lilmis, running is great if you like it, i dont, so i find other ways to get fit, but sticking to the work rest ratio is a good idea, 3mins on, 1 min off, remember boxing is anaerobic, you need to explode then cruise, explode cruise etc.., so if you are going to do running, i would rather do a 100m sprint, rest 45secs, do it 3 times for the round, i know i find 100m sprints really hard, if you find them easy increase the sprint and decrease the rest. holyfield hated running to, so i have used some of the things he did instead, check them out in the program i posted in this thread earlier.

Boxing banker, i do not use the speed bag or floor to ceiling, i am still not sure how they help a boxer so i stick to things like heavy bag work, sparring and pad work.

Maco. you are spot on , focusing on my usa trip is all im concentrating on.

Tuaman, your right, tutaki fights with alot more confidence when he knows it is only 4rds

Mark, just finished your blog and it seems your not following the diet guidelines I set down in that email I sent you. There seems to be an alarming abundance of vegetables and pasta yet not one pizza from Dominos (from memory I recommended the Cheesey Crust Meatlovers with extra cheese). Also wheres the bourbon schedule I specifically worked out for you? Again, Jacks or Jimmies, not important as long as you stay away from Woodstock.
